Privacy Policy

Overview

Santa Tower Defense is a free Android tower defense game published by Gemini Apps. This policy explains what data the game and the services it uses handle, and what choices you have.

Age

The game is for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not ourselves collect, store or transmit personally identifiable information, and we run no servers for the game. Limited data is received by the third-party services described below (Google AdMob, Google Play and Android Backup) under their own privacy policies. Specifically:

• No account, login or registration is required
• No usage analytics or crash reporting is collected by us
• We never receive your name, email address, contacts, location or payment details

Data Stored on Your Device

Your progress (unlocked maps, stars, credits, shop purchases, settings and a count of games played for ad pacing) and a short log of recent level attempts are stored in the game's private storage on your device. Nothing in them is sent to us. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the game deletes them.

If Android Backup is turned on for your device, Android may copy your progress file to your Google account so it can come back on a new phone. That backup is handled by Google, not by us, and is controlled in your device's backup settings.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows ads served by Google AdMob: an optional rewarded video that you start yourself when you choose to watch an ad for extra help in a level, and a short skippable ad between games on later maps. A one-time Remove ads purchase turns off the between-game ad; the optional rewarded video remains available.

AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, device and app information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interactions such as impressions and clicks, to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Whether ads are personalised depends on your choices. Where Google requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the game shows Google's consent form when it starts, and you can review or change your choice at any time under Settings, Privacy options in the game. If you decline personalised ads, you still see ads, but not personalised ones. You can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in your device's Android settings (Settings, Google, Ads).

In-app Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The game offers optional in-app purchases: credit packs, extra help in a level, and a one-time Remove ads. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Remove ads can be restored from Settings in the game; credit packs, once used, cannot be restored.

Permissions

The game itself asks for no permissions that show a prompt. The game and the services it uses declare:

• INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — to load ads and process purchases; the game plays offline otherwise
• BILLING — to process in-app purchases through Google Play
• AD_ID — lets the ad service read the advertising ID
• READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE, WAKE_LOCK and FOREGROUND_SERVICE — declared by the Google ad and Play services libraries for ad delivery and background work; the game does not use them for anything else

Retention, Deletion and Changes

We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. To remove what is on your device, clear the app's data or uninstall the game. To control ad data, use Google's ad settings and the Privacy options in the game. If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
